Tummy Tuck

What is a Tummy Tuck?
A tummy tuck is a surgical procedure aimed at removing sagging abdominal skin and excess fat tissue. Through the procedure, the skin on the abdominal area becomes tight, resulting in a flat and firm abdomen. Age, body type, and skin elasticity can also influence the effectiveness of the treatment.
Why is it Needed?
Pregnancy and significant weight loss often leave behind unwanted skin sagging, which is not only an aesthetic issue but can also affect self-confidence. A tummy tuck offers a solution to these problems, enabling affected individuals to wear their clothes confidently and feel comfortable in their skin.
How the Procedure Works
The surgery is performed under anesthesia to ensure the utmost comfort for our patients. Our plastic surgeon makes a longitudinal incision in the area below the belly button and along the bikini line, removing excess skin and fat tissue. If necessary, stretched abdominal muscles are also joined together, and the belly button is fixed in its original anatomical position.
