He graduated from Semmelweis University in 1995.
He passed the surgical examination in 2001, the thoracic surgery examination in 2004, and the clinical oncology examination in 2009.
In 2013, He obtained an MSc degree in healthcare management from the Health Management Training Center of Semmelweis University.
In 2015, He received his Ph.D. degree.
He started his career at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Uzsoki Street Hospital.
He worked at the General Surgery Profile of Szent Imre Hospital and at the Surgery Department of the United Szent István and Szent László Hospital (Semmelweis University Department of Surgery Group),
In addition to general surgery, he has acquired special expertise in the application of minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy)
- He is the Hungarian head of the international bariatric society, the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO).
- He founded the Hungarian Patient Safety Society and the Hungarian Metabolic and Bariatric Society.
