Introduction
Dr. Zsolt Baranyai is a board-certified general surgeon, clinical oncologist, PhD, and habilitated university lecturer with several decades of experience in clinical practice, medical education, and scientific research. Throughout his professional career, high-quality surgical care, the application of modern minimally invasive techniques, and a strong commitment to patient safety have played a defining role in his work.
He spent many years working at the clinics of the Semmelweis University, where he actively participated in undergraduate medical education and specialist training, while continuously integrating his clinical work with research and organizational activities. During his career, he has been involved in numerous national and international collaborations and has played a significant role in the dissemination and institutional strengthening of patient safety principles in Hungary.
His professional approach is characterized by comprehensive clinical thinking, methodological rigor, and a strong sense of responsibility toward patients, whether in clinical decision-making, education, or professional guidance.
