He was a board member of several professional societies (Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine, Day Surgery). He introduced spine surgery to one-day surgery, which was also considered a novelty at the international level. During his career, he worked as a doctor and chief physician in many public and private hospitals. From 1971 to 1999, he worked as a leading neurosurgeon at the National Institute of Neurosurgery, from 1999 to 2005 at the Nyíregyháza County Hospital, and from 2005 at private hospitals, performing more than 6,000 operations and introducing new surgical procedures.

  • Introduction of laser spine surgery
  • Minimally invasive microscopic spine surgery as part of one-day care
International experience:

Study trips to many European countries and Japan, giving more than 100 lectures at national and international congresses

In 1981, he received an honorary professorship in Japan, an Outstanding Doctor award, and was featured in the Video Portrait Hall of Outstanding Persons.
