Szakacs Szilvia
I graduated from the Szeged Szent-Györgyi Albert Medical University in 1999 and began my specialization at the university's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In 2002, I obtained a medical economist degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Szeged.
From December 2001 to March 1, 2021, I worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Fejér County Szent György Hospital.
In 2005, I passed my obstetrics and gynecology specialist exam with distinction. In addition to managing deliveries and performing cesarean sections, I conducted laparoscopic and open abdominal surgeries, ultrasound screenings, and infertility evaluations. From 2013 onward, I oversaw emergency obstetric tasks in the county as an on-call supervisor, serving first as an adjunct and later, from 2018, as chief physician.
In 2019, I earned a legal specialist physician diploma from the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE).
Due to changes in the public healthcare sector in 2021, including the introduction of the healthcare service employment status, I did not continue my work at Fejér County Szent György Hospital.
Since September 2021, I have been working in the obstetrics department at the private Duna Medical Center in Budapest.
My areas of interest include gynecological endocrinology (menstrual cycle disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, contraception, menopausal symptoms), gestational diabetes, insulin resistance, gynecological laparoscopy, and ultrasound diagnostics.
