I wanted to be a doctor since I was 6 years old. I was most interested in surgery. I joked a lot with my family members that if I became a doctor, they would get new organs from me.
I started my studies in Nyíregyháza, at the Zay Anna Vocational High School, where I got to know healthcare up close. I became more and more enthusiastic about the profession. After graduating from high school, I completed a dental assistant training course, where I became even more convinced that I wanted to work in healthcare and help people. I graduated as a midwife from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Semmelweis University in Budapest.
In the second year of my training, I was first in the delivery room, where on the first day I was able to be part of a beautiful, natural birth. That was when I became convinced that I had chosen the most beautiful profession in the world. I am grateful to the midwives working at Szent Imre University Hospital for allowing me to gain extensive experience and deepen my knowledge of natural childbirth during the years I spent there. From the first moment, I became a supporter of natural childbirth.
I am happy to be able to provide assistance to mothers and then be part of the birth of a family.
In 2019, I was on a study trip to the Policlinico Umberto University Hospital in Rome. Here, I gained insight into the local obstetric and neonatal care and learned many practical procedures. I have been using these since then, as they are a great help to new mothers both physically and mentally.
From 2020, I joined the midwifery team of a private clinic in Budapest, where I further deepened my knowledge of obstetrics and neonatal care. I also participated in obstetric conferences and further training.
